ABOUT MARMARİS
Marmaris is an important port city and a tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast, located in southwest Turkey, in the Muğla Province.
It is not known when Marmaris was founded, but Physkos as Marmaris was previously known, was part of the Carian Empire in the 6th century B.C.
The waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas around Marmaris and Icmeler are generally acknowledged to be one of the top Scuba diving spots in the country.
